How Mustard Seed Healing Ministry Came to Be

In my early twenties, I became a Christian, and almost immediately, something changed inside me. I developed a sincere desire to help other people. I did not yet understand what that calling would look like, but I knew I wanted my life to mean something and to be used in service to God and others.

Not knowing exactly where that desire would lead, I enrolled in Bible college and spent four years studying theology and Scripture. At the time, I believed I might eventually become a pastor. However, after completing my education, I came to recognize that traditional pastoral ministry was not where I was best suited. I did not believe I had the patience or temperament required to lead a church in that capacity.

That left me with an education in theology, a desire to help people, and very little understanding of what I was supposed to do next.

Like many people trying to find their place in the world, I moved from job to job and from industry to industry. Some of the work was manual labor, but much of it involved sales. Eventually, I found my way into pharmaceutical sales. It provided an income and paid the bills, but I never felt completely satisfied. Somewhere inside me, I still knew there was supposed to be more.

Then, through what appeared at the time to be a matter of being in the right place at the right time, I received an invitation to attend a private conference in Clearwater, Florida. A small group of people had been invited to learn about an emerging biologic technology involving umbilical cord-derived stem cells.

That conference became a turning point in my life.

I was immediately fascinated—not only by the technology, but by the possibilities it represented. I began immersing myself in the subject, studying everything I could and listening to physicians, researchers, laboratories, and other professionals working within the emerging regenerative field.

But the deeper I went, the more I began to realize that a biologic product or procedure was only one part of a much larger picture.

People were making substantial investments in advanced therapies, yet many had never been taught about the basic conditions that support the body every day: hydration, nutrition, minerals, sleep, movement, inflammation, environmental exposures, immune function, cellular communication, and the importance of the internal environment surrounding every cell.

I began asking a larger question:

That question caused me to move beyond simply learning about stem cells. I wanted to understand how the body functioned at the cellular level—how cells communicated, how they received signals, how the immune system identified threats, how inflammation affected repair, and how the body's many systems worked together.

The more I learned, the more fascinated I became.

What I found did not lead me away from God. It led me closer to Him.

The extraordinary order within the human body continually pointed me back to the brilliance of its Creator. Every new discovery seemed to reveal another layer of God's wonderful design. The body was not a collection of disconnected parts. It was an intricately coordinated living system—fearfully and wonderfully made.

Over the years, I was given access to physicians, laboratories, researchers, compounding companies, biologic manufacturers, patient experiences, scientific information, clinical observations, and personal testimonies. I listened, researched, investigated, asked questions, and continued learning.

Without realizing it at the time, God was allowing me to gather the pieces.

My theological education had not been wasted. My years in sales and the pharmaceutical world had not been wasted. And my introduction to regenerative medicine had not been an accident. Even the different jobs, disappointments, detours, and unanswered questions had become part of the preparation.

Then came a season when God allowed me to become isolated.

And when God intends to get you alone, He knows how to remove the noise.

In that season, many of the things that had previously occupied my attention became quiet. I was forced to slow down, reflect, pray, and ask one simple but deeply important question:

"God, what would You have me do now?"

Over time, I became convinced that God was placing a clear responsibility on my heart:

That calling became Mustard Seed Healing Ministry.

This ministry was not created to replace physicians, promise cures, or convince people to reject appropriate medical care. It was created to educate, encourage, and help people ask better questions. It exists to bring together faith, practical health stewardship, responsible education, and a deeper appreciation for the God-given design of the human body.

Mustard Seed Healing Ministry is not the sales or promotional arm of a biologics company. Its foundational education exists to help people become better informed, better prepared, and more responsible stewards of their health—regardless of whether they ever pursue an advanced therapy.

The mission is to make valuable information understandable and accessible—not only to those who can afford expensive consultations or advanced programs, but to ordinary people, families, caregivers, and believers who are searching for knowledge and hope.

It is especially for the person who is hurting, overwhelmed, frightened, or unsure where to begin. It is for the person who needs someone to slow things down, explain things clearly, and remind them that they are not alone.

What began as a desire to help people in my early twenties took many years to fully take shape.

The road passed through Bible college, ordinary jobs, pharmaceutical sales, regenerative medicine, physicians, laboratories, research, testimonies, disappointment, discovery, and finally, isolation and prayer.

Looking back, I can now see that God was connecting the entire journey.

He did not waste the detours. He used them as preparation.

Mustard Seed Healing Ministry is the result of that journey—and the assignment is simple:
